With assistance from Razak Hussein, Suhaimi Abdullah, and Man Kadir, he successfully developed the branch, which now encompasses numerous sub-branches within Orang Asal and traditional Malay villages, areas that were previously inaccessible. His dedication extended to leadership roles, including serving as the chairman of the Orang Asal Keadilan Bureau, chairman of the Felda Keadilan Bureau, and deputy chairman of Keadilan Pahang, demonstrating a deep commitment to grassroots party building and community engagement. Suhaimi passed away on November 5, 2013, after battling bone and liver cancer.
Awards for Branch Performance and Staff Loyalty

Beyond individual recognition, the PKR also presented awards to branches that excelled in member recruitment during the year. The branches recognised for successfully attracting a large number of new members included Kota Bharu, Pensiangan, Serdang, Hulu Selangor, and Puchong. The presentation of these awards was a significant event, with the party president, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, officiating the ceremony. She was accompanied by her successor, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, and PKR secretary-general Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
