Task Force's Mandate and Briefing

The Special Task Force was formed by the Cabinet on October 29 last year, prompted by the 2018 decision made during Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad's premiership to drop the review application. Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Parliament) Datuk Seri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, alongside Task Force Chairman Tan Sri Mohamed Apandi Ali, presented the interim report to Sultan Ibrahim at Istana Polo. Tunku Mahkota of Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim and Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi were also in attendance during the briefing.
