Inter-Area Travel Permitted

The primary implication of this transition is the removal of barriers to movement between Selangor, Putrajaya, and Kuala Lumpur. These three territories have been officially designated as one infection zone, meaning that travel between them is no longer restricted. This decision was announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, who stated that roadblocks would be removed accordingly.
Interdistrict Travel for Fully Vaccinated

While travel between the three territories is now allowed, it has been clarified that interdistrict travel within the broader Klang Valley area is specifically permitted for individuals who have completed their full vaccination regimen. This stipulation aims to facilitate movement for those who have met the vaccination criteria, enabling them to travel between districts within the combined infection zone.
Permitted Economic and Social Activities

The transition to Phase Two also brings about the resumption of several economic and social activities. Fully vaccinated individuals will be able to dine in at eateries, engage in local tourism within their respective states, which includes staying at hotels and homestays, and long-distance couples will be allowed to travel to meet their partners. Furthermore, services such as hair salons, hairdressers, and beauty salons will also be permitted to operate under the new phase.
