The data shows that 88.3 per cent of respondents regularly employ digital payment tools, and a substantial 77.3 per cent utilise digital banking applications for their savings. Investment activities are also increasingly moving online, with 58.1 per cent engaging with digital investment platforms. Additionally, 43.1 per cent of respondents actively use the Employees Provident Fund mobile application, highlighting a broad reliance on digital channels for managing personal finances.
Challenges in Translating Knowledge into Security

Despite the high levels of financial knowledge and digital engagement, a significant challenge lies in converting this understanding into consistent financial behaviours and achieving long-term financial security. The report identifies a gap between knowing and doing, where motivation to improve one's financial future does not always translate into the sustained actions required for financial well-being. This disconnect suggests that while individuals may grasp financial concepts, the practical application and consistent execution of these principles remain an obstacle to achieving robust financial outcomes.
