In addition to the abuse of power charges, Muhyiddin is also facing three charges for allegedly receiving RM200 million in illegal proceeds from Bukhary Equity Sdn Bhd. These funds were reportedly deposited into Bersatu's bank accounts at Ambank and CIMB Bank. The alleged instances of receiving these illegal proceeds took place at an Ambank branch in Petaling Jaya on January 7, 2022, and at a CIMB Bank branch in Kuala Lumpur between February 25 and July 16, 2021, with further alleged deposits occurring between February 8 and July 8, 2022.
