Supporting a Sweeping AI Literacy Strategy

The introduction of free ChatGPT Edu access aligns with NUS's broader commitment to AI education, announced on August 11. This includes a mandatory new module, "Applied Generative AI: From Prompting to Evaluation," for all undergraduates starting in August 2026. Furthermore, AI-related courses will be woven into the core curricula of major academic units, including the College of Humanities and Sciences and the Business School, which together encompass over 85 per cent of the undergraduate student body.
