The commission continues to expand its inquiries, with 23 new witnesses slated to be called soon for statement recording, and an additional four individuals are currently in the process of providing their statements.
Significant Assets Seized During Probe

The investigation has led to the seizure of substantial assets by the MACC. Approximately RM170 million in cash, held in various international currencies such as Baht, Riyal, Pound Sterling, Won, Euro, Swiss Franc, and Yuan, has been confiscated. In addition to the cash, 16 kilograms of gold bullion, estimated to be worth RM7 million, were also seized as part of the probe.
Former Prime Minister's Involvement in the Investigation

Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob himself is a central figure in this investigation. He had been scheduled to appear at the MACC headquarters on a previous Friday, but his attendance was postponed due to health reasons. The MACC Chief Commissioner confirmed that the session has been rescheduled, with the former prime minister still on medical leave. Prior to his statement being recorded on February 19, Ismail Sabri had submitted his asset declaration details on February 10.
