Satisfaction Levels with Prime Minister's Performance

Beyond policy understanding, the study also delved into satisfaction levels with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim's performance. Among Malay respondents in the six states, a substantial 76 per cent expressed dissatisfaction. Conversely, satisfaction rates were considerably higher among non-Malay respondents, with 88 per cent of ethnic Chinese and 81 per cent of ethnic Indian respondents reporting satisfaction. This indicates a notable difference in perception of the Prime Minister's effectiveness across different ethnic communities within these states.
Overall Satisfaction and Regional Influence

On a broader scale, overall satisfaction with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim's performance among respondents from the six states stood at 42 per cent. The Ilham Centre report noted that responses were skewed by data from states currently governed by Perikatan Nasional, namely Kedah, Kelantan, and Terengganu. In these opposition-held states, respondents exhibited a relatively low level of satisfaction with Anwar's performance, suggesting that voters in these areas remain sceptical of the Prime Minister's efforts.
