The approved applications comprised around 26,000 SMEs and 354,000 individual borrowers.

Around 70% of the total 1.4 million respondents expressed confidence in their ability to cope with repayment schedules. Notably, over 80% of SMEs reported not requiring assistance, a higher proportion than individual borrowers.
Outreach Efforts and Application Timelines

Banks implemented extensive outreach strategies to inform borrowers about available assistance before the moratorium's expiry. These efforts included extending branch operating hours, including weekends, and leveraging online platforms. Some banks also collaborated with Islamic religious authorities to disseminate information on financial management and available aid. The application processing time for loan repayment assistance typically ranges from one to five days for individuals and three days to two weeks for SMEs.
