Qualifications Required for IPTA Admission for Non-Mainstream Students

Applications for students outside the national education system seeking admission to public institutions of higher learning (IPTA) will commence on June 30. For the current year, these applications must be submitted directly to the individual universities, with integration into the UPUOnline system planned for 2027. Successful applicants will be considered part of the mainstream educational system and their programmes will receive government subsidies.
Academic and Language Requirements

In line with existing requirements for all public university admissions, a minimum credit in Bahasa Melayu and a pass in History are mandatory.
