New Board Members Appointed

The appointments of new directors to the DNB board became effective on April 24, 2024. These individuals represent the five participating telecommunication companies: CelcomDigi, Maxis, U Mobile, Telekom Malaysia (TM), and YTL. Their inclusion signifies a shift towards greater industry involvement in the governance of the national 5G infrastructure.
Telco Representatives on the Board

Each of the five telcos has nominated representatives to join the DNB board. Datuk Kamal Khalid will represent CelcomDigi, while Uthaya Kumar A/L K Vivekananda will represent Maxis. U Mobile has appointed Chang Yit Fei, with Tan Kok Leong as his alternative. For Telekom Malaysia, Nik Azli Abu Zahar will serve as a director, supported by his alternative, Mohamed Tajul Mohamed Sultan. Existing Board Members Remain
