The upcoming electric vehicle (EV) charging hub at Resorts World Genting, a project by Shell Malaysia, will be equipped with a total of 10 charging bays. This facility will include four bays dedicated to 360kW high-performance chargers (HPC) and six bays equipped with 22kW alternating current (AC) chargers. All chargers at this hub will be fitted with combined charging system Type 2 charging connectors.
High-Performance Charging Bays

Four of the ten charging bays at the new hub will be outfitted with 360kW high-performance chargers. This capability is described as ultra-fast, offering EV drivers a significantly quicker charging experience, particularly noted for its application at the hilltop location. This represents the first such HPC hub powered by Shell Recharge in Malaysia.
Standard AC Charging Bays

In addition to the high-performance options, the hub will also provide six charging bays with 22kW alternating current (AC) chargers. These AC chargers offer a standard charging speed, complementing the ultra-fast HPC units to cater to a broader range of EV charging needs.
Connector Type

All charging units, both the 360kW HPC and the 22kW AC chargers, will come equipped with combined charging system Type 2 charging connectors. This standardised connector ensures compatibility for a wide array of EV models, facilitating ease of use for drivers visiting the new facility.
