Bank Negara Malaysia's Clarification

Bank Negara Malaysia officially dismissed Google's reported exchange rate. The central bank clarified that the correct USD to MYR exchange rate on that date was RM4.70 to 1 US dollar.
Government Intervention and Google's Response

Following the discrepancy, Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil addressed the issue.
