A total of 36 cases involved smuggled cigarettes, amounting to 242,148 sticks. These seizures were valued at over RM200,000, inclusive of taxes. Additionally, separate operations at entry points and ports in Penang thwarted the smuggling of 2,728,720 more cigarette sticks, valued at over RM500,000.
Frozen Pork Constituted the Largest Single Seizure

The most substantial seizure by value was 17.8 tons of frozen pork, discovered in Tumpat. This consignment was valued at RM452,858, including applicable taxes.
Other Contraband Included Various Goods

Beyond cigarettes and pork, customs officials also confiscated other items. These included 7,000 litres of diesel, alcoholic beverages, frozen chicken, and rice. Furthermore, cloned vehicles were among the seized goods. The collective value of these additional confiscated items exceeded RM260,000, inclusive of taxes.
