The immediate financial priority for MAG is reinvestment into the business to fund its expansion plans. Group chief financial officer Boo Hui Yee stated that the shareholder's primary objective is for MAG to become financially self-sustaining. Consequently, capital expenditure and business development take precedence over distributing dividends at this current stage, especially given the significant investment required for growth.
Long-Term Business Plan 3.0 Drives Capital Needs

MAG is undertaking substantial capital expenditure over the coming years as part of its LTBP3.0. This includes plans for fleet renewal and capacity growth, with the acquisition of approximately 20 wide-body and 30 narrow-body aircraft. Funding for this expansion will be raised independently by MAG through various financial instruments, rather than from shareholder contributions.

Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer Captain Izham Ismail indicated that the shareholder is well aware of the substantial investments necessary for the group's ongoing growth.
