The disputed land, situated in the prominent Jalan Duta area known as the Duta Enclave, currently hosts several government buildings. These include facilities such as the national hockey stadium, the Malaysian Institute of Integrity, the national archives, the Kuala Lumpur Syariah Court, the Inland Revenue Board building, and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Academy. The legal challenges initiated by Semantan Estate began in 2003, with the company claiming the land was unlawfully acquired by the government.
