These included three live bullets, a spent shell casing, and a screwdriver. The victim was shot at his workplace, a carwash in Felda Keratong 2, on October 24. He later died from his injuries on October 25.

The suspect, who is believed to be the girlfriend of the victim's wife, was apprehended at the Tanjung Malim Rest and Recreation Area. He was reportedly en route to his hometown in Bedong, Kedah. Preliminary inquiries suggest the victim and his wife were experiencing marital issues, and the wife had been involved in an affair with the suspect for approximately four months prior to the incident. The victim had apparently learned of the affair and was attempting to reconcile with his wife by persuading her to return to Acheh. The victim's wife, along with two other individuals, have also been detained to assist with the ongoing investigation.
