Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) is undertaking several measures to mitigate the impact of this planned outage and to expedite the restoration of water supply. These initiatives include the deployment of water tankers, the provision of static tanks, the establishment of public taps and water refilling stations, and the distribution of bottled drinking water. Special attention will be given to critical premises, ensuring that essential facilities such as hospitals and dialysis centres receive priority for water supply.
Expected Restoration Timeline

Following the completion of the upgrading works and the resumption of operations at LRA SSP2, water supply is expected to be restored in stages. Air Selangor anticipates that a substantial portion of the affected areas, close to 50 per cent, will begin to receive water again within the first 24 hours after the maintenance concludes. Consumers are advised to store adequate water supplies and to use water judiciously during this period to manage the temporary scarcity.
