This includes team sports like football, rugby, sepak takraw, basketball, and netball. Furthermore, group exercises such as Zumba, senamrobik, taichi, and qigong are explicitly prohibited.
Restrictions on Indoor and Recreational Activities

The new SOP also extends to a wide range of indoor sports and recreational pursuits. Facilities for sports such as badminton, ping pong, gyms, futsal, snooker, billiards, and bowling will remain closed to the public. Outdoor activities that are not permitted include hiking, recreational fishing, water sports, and swimming.
Allowed Individual Outdoor Activities

While many sports remain banned, certain individual outdoor activities are permitted under strict conditions. These include jogging and outdoor workouts, provided participants maintain a two-metre distance from each other. Such activities can take place in public areas like neighbourhood pocket parks, the Esplanade, and Padang Polo. Outdoor badminton and tennis, cycling with a five-metre distance, and golf are also allowed.
