The state housed a total of 4,274 victims from 1,188 families across 57 relief centres. The closure of the Balairaya Kampung Pudu PPS in Segamat at 2pm on January 7 marked a slight reduction in the number of active centres, but Segamat itself remained the epicentre for evacuees.
