Ancom Crop Care Penang Scholarship Targets Underprivileged Penang-Born Students

The Ancom Crop Care Penang Scholarship Programme specifically targets students born in Penang who come from financially underprivileged families. The initiative aims to provide financial support for these students to pursue tertiary education, with applications for the 2026/2027 academic year opening on August 11 and closing on September 30.
Eligibility Criteria for Applicants

The scholarship is open to Penang-born students who have secured admission to any undergraduate degree programme at a local university, with the exception of Medicine and Dentistry. Students who have applied for university but have not yet received offer letters can also apply, using their STPM or A-Level results. Furthermore, current undergraduate students in their second, third, or final year of study are also considered eligible to apply.
Financial Support Provided

Successful recipients of the Ancom Crop Care Penang Scholarship will receive funding of up to RM10,000 each. This financial assistance is intended to cover tuition fees throughout the duration of their studies. This marks the fourth year of the scholarship programme since its launch in May 2023 by Ancom Crop Care Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Ancom Nylex Bhd.

To date, the scholarship programme has benefited 67 students from various universities across Malaysia.
