Several stretches of the Sungai Besi Expressway (BESRAYA) and the New Pantai Expressway (NPE) will be temporarily closed to facilitate the IJM Allianz Duo Highway Challenge 2026. These closures are scheduled to occur from 11 pm on August 1 to 10 am on August 2.
New Pantai Expressway (NPE) Closures

The closures on the NPE will affect two segments. The first segment spans from KM1.8 at Bulatan Kewajipan (Subang Jaya) to KM11, impacting travel in both directions towards Bangsar. Additionally, the section from the Kuchai Lama intersection at KM17 to the Pantai Dalam Toll Plaza will also be closed in both directions.
Sungai Besi Expressway (BESRAYA) Closures

On the BESRAYA, the affected route is from the Kuchai Lama intersection to Jalan Pandan 1 at KM21.9. This closure will be in effect for both directions of travel heading towards Jalan Lingkaran Tengah 2 (MRR2).
Event Facilitation and Approvals

These temporary road closures have received approval from the Works Ministry (KKR), the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), and the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM). The closures are specifically to accommodate the IJM Allianz Duo Highway Challenge 2026 event.
