Following Selangor, Kelantan reported the second-highest number of new cases with 571 infections. Johor recorded 438 new cases, and Kuala Lumpur registered 388 new cases. Conversely, Perlis, Putrajaya, and Labuan logged the lowest numbers, with 46, 32, and 23 cases respectively.
National Case and Death Toll

The total number of active Covid-19 cases in Malaysia currently stands at 60,411. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the cumulative case total has reached 2,661,959. In the latest update, 66 additional deaths were recorded, bringing the national death toll to 30,718.
Deaths and Vaccination Status

The majority of fatalities, 74.9 per cent, were among those aged 60 and above, with an additional 24.4 per cent in the 30 to 59 age group.
