This ensures that the subsidy is directed towards vehicles actively used for business operations.
Business Registration Requirements

Beyond vehicle registration, the business itself must meet certain criteria. Businesses applying for the SKDS must be registered as sole proprietorships or partnerships. This registration needs to be with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) or the appropriate local authority if the business is based in Sabah or Sarawak.
Application Process and Subsidy Commencement

Eligible business owners are encouraged to apply through the MySubsidi portal, accessible at https://mysubsidi.kpdn.gov.my. Once an application is approved and a fleet card is issued, the diesel subsidy will become available from July 15. This marks a significant expansion from previous SKDS eligibility, which was limited to the public land transport and consumer goods land transport sectors.
