A 21-year-old passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 17-year-old passenger passed away while receiving treatment at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kota Kinabalu. The driver of the car, along with other passengers, suffered serious injuries and are currently hospitalised. The 36-year-old driver of the 4WD reported no serious injuries, though his 27-year-old female passenger is also undergoing treatment.
