Two Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) Hercules C-130 aircraft have been positioned in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to stand by for the evacuation of Malaysians from Yemen. These aircraft, accompanied by a contingent of 43 armed forces personnel, departed from the RMAF airbase in Subang on the evening of April 7. The deployment was strategically planned and coordinated in response to the escalating unrest within Yemen.
Decision to Evacuate Based on Situation Assessment
