Solicitation for Project Percentage

Adam Radlan is accused of soliciting a percentage of a project's value, ranging between 3.5% and 7%, from Mat Jusoh Mamat. Mat Jusoh is identified as the director of MIE Infrastructure & Energy Sdn Bhd. This alleged solicitation occurred in March 2021 at a restaurant in Dutamas and relates to the Jana Wibawa programme.
Receipt of RM500,000 for Project Approval

In a second charge, Adam Radlan is alleged to have received RM500,000 into his CIMB Bank account. The funds were reportedly transferred from Mat Jusoh on November 26, 2021. This payment was allegedly made in exchange for securing a government approval letter for MIE Infrastructure & Energy to construct a road project in Perlis, valued at RM47.8 million.
Bail and Passport Surrender Conditions

Sessions Court Judge Suzana Hussin set Adam Radlan's bail at RM120,000, to be supported by two sureties. He has also been ordered to surrender his passport to the court by March 23. Both charges against Adam Radlan fall under Section 16(a) of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Act.
