Applicants who schedule appointments via the NRD Appointment System are given priority for the issuance of the New Structure MyKad. This also extends to existing holders of Plastic Identity Cards (KPP), High Quality Identity Cards (KPT), and MyKad Version 1 (without ghost image). These groups are specifically designated for prioritized replacement as the new card structure is rolled out.
