Legal Proceedings and Bail

Aminuddin was charged under Section 165 of the Penal Code, which carries a maximum penalty of two years' imprisonment, a fine, or both. The prosecution proposed bail of RM20,000 with one surety and requested the impounding of Aminuddin's passport. However, the Sessions Court judge set bail at RM15,000 with one surety and ordered the surrender of his passport. Case management is scheduled for February 22.
