Najib and Shukry Identified as Ordering Deletions

Tan Sri Madinah Mohamad, the current Auditor-General, has stated that both Datuk Seri Najib Razak and Tan Sri Shukry Salleh instructed the removal of certain details from the original 1MDB audit report. These deletions reportedly involved sensitive information pertaining to the financial status of 1MDB and the attendance of fugitive businessman Low Taek Jho, widely known as Jho Low, at a 1MDB board meeting.
Other Officials Present During Alleged Instruction Meetings

Madinah Mohamad also indicated that several other high-ranking officials were present during meetings where instructions to expunge information from the audit report were given. Those named as being present at some of these meetings include former chief secretary to the government Tan Sri Ali Hamsa, Tan Sri Shukry Salleh, former auditor-general Tan Sri Ambrin Buang, and former 1MDB president Arul Kanda Kandasamy.
Eight Individuals Summoned for Questioning

In addition to Najib Razak and Shukry Salleh, the PAC has summoned six other individuals for questioning. These include Tan Sri Ali Hamsa, former MACC chief Tan Sri Dzulkifli Ahmad, Arul Kanda Kandasamy, Tan Sri Ambrin Buang, Tan Sri Madinah Mohamad, and Saadatul Nafisah Bashir Ahmad, a former audit performance director at the National Audit Department. Their testimonies are expected to shed light on the alleged alterations to the 2016 1MDB audit report.
