When asked to identify the single biggest issue facing Malaysians, a significant 73 per cent pointed to economic matters, a sentiment shared across all ethnic groups. Satisfaction with Government Performance

On the performance of the federal government, 51 per cent of respondents expressed dissatisfaction with its handling of the economy, while 46 per cent were satisfied. Despite this, the level of dissatisfaction regarding economic management has shown a decrease compared to trends observed throughout 2025. Overall, the federal government's approval stands at 50 per cent satisfied versus 48 per cent dissatisfied.
