Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is slated to officiate the line's official launch on Sunday, June 28, in a ceremony that is anticipated to benefit approximately two million residents along its corridor. During this event, the Prime Minister will also announce the commercial opening date and time for the 20-station route.
Twenty New Stations Comprise the Shah Alam Line

The newly established stations along the LRT3 Shah Alam Line include Bandar Utama, Kayu Ara, BU 11, Damansara Idaman, Subang, Glenmarie 2, Kerjaya, Stadium Shah Alam, Dato’ Menteri, and UiTM Shah Alam. Additionally, the route features Seksyen 7 Shah Alam, Bandar Baru Klang, Pasar Klang, Jalan Meru, Jambatan Kota, Taman Selatan, Seri Andalas, Klang Jaya, Bandar Bukit Tinggi, and Johan Setia, bringing the total to twenty stations.
Integrated Commuting Solutions Provided

Passengers will experience seamless transfers, with the LRT3 Shah Alam Line offering connections to the Kajang Line at Bandar Utama and the Kelana Jaya Line at Glenmarie 2. To enhance commuter convenience, the network is supported by 40 feeder buses operating across 13 routes with 323 stops, available from 6 am to 11:30 pm for RM1 per ride. Furthermore, Rapid On-Demand van services with 44 vans serving 20 zones at RM2 per trip are also available during the same operating hours, with routes and services subject to fine-tuning based on commuter demand.
Accessibility and Sustainability Features Incorporated

Parking facilities are available at six stations: Kayu Ara, Damansara Idaman, Pasar Besar Klang, Sri Andalas, Bandar Bukit Tinggi, and Johan Setia, providing a total of 2,300 bays. The LRT3 Shah Alam Line is designed with sustainability in mind, incorporating green features such as inverter-based air conditioning for light rail vehicles and smart cooling systems. Station designs are optimised for natural airflow and daylight to minimise energy consumption. Accessibility is a key priority, with all stations equipped with ramps for wheelchair users, disability-compliant toilets, and reserved seating for persons with disabilities in every carriage.
