This application is slated for registration under the third implementation plan of 2023, as part of the broader 12th Malaysia Plan (12MP). The ministry anticipates no significant obstacles in the implementation of this project within the 12MP framework.
Bare Base Construction in Pre-Construction Phase

Concurrently, the construction of the RMAF bare base in Bintulu is advancing into its pre-construction stages. The RMAF is actively collaborating with the Public Works Department to finalise the project's site investigation study and initial design concepts. This collaborative effort aims to refine the foundational aspects of the base development.
Value Management and Tender Process

The project is scheduled to undergo a value management laboratory evaluation, a process involving the Economic Planning Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department, from June 6 to 10. Following the conclusion of this evaluation, the project is projected to be put out for tender in the fourth quarter of 2022, marking a significant step towards its physical realisation.
