No Investigation Cases Opened by Police

Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi stated in a parliamentary reply that the Interpol unit in Malaysia had not received any requests to locate Low, Nik Faisal Ariff Kamil, and three other individuals. This absence of requests stems from the fact that the police have not opened any specific investigation cases concerning these individuals. Consequently, the police unit has been unable to trace or track them.
MACC Summoned Individuals for Questioning

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) had previously summoned SRC International's managing director Nik Faisal Ariff Kamil and director Datuk Suboh Md Yassin for questioning in August. Jho Low was also named at that time as one of three individuals wanted for questioning in the anti-graft investigation into SRC International. A representative for Jho Low had reportedly stated that the businessman would cooperate with the MACC.
Bank Negara Malaysia Issued Wanted Posters

In parallel investigations, Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) had released "Wanted" posters for former 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) executive directors Casey Tang Keng Chee and Jasmine Loo Ai Swan. These posters were issued to assist an investigation under the Exchange Control Act 1953, and the public was urged to provide any information on their whereabouts. Jho Low himself has been frequently linked to 1MDB due to his role in its predecessor company but has not been formally called for any investigations into the firm.
