Parti Wawasan Negara was left out because PN had only just accepted it, and the party was still being established.

PN deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said seat talks for the 56 Johor state seats were already under way with PAS, Bersatu, Gerakan and the Malaysian Indian People’s Party, but not with Parti Wawasan Negara. He said the party was excluded because PN had only recently accepted its membership, and Wawasan Negara was still going through the process of being set up, including its rebranding from Parti Cinta Malaysia and procedures with the Registrar of Societies.
PN’s Johor negotiations were already limited to four parties
Tuan Ibrahim said the discussion on the 56 Johor seats involved only PAS, Bersatu, Gerakan and MIPP. He said that, as of the discussion held yesterday, Wawasan Negara was not part of the seat-sharing talks.
Wawasan Negara had only just joined PN
He said PN had only recently accepted Wawasan Negara into the coalition. That timing was the main reason the party had not been included in the seat negotiations at that stage.
The party was still in the process of being formed
Tuan Ibrahim said he did not expect Wawasan Negara to field candidates in the state election because it was still undergoing establishment work. He specifically mentioned the rebranding from Parti Cinta Malaysia and the necessary procedures with the Registrar of Societies.
Wawasan Negara could still contest on its own logo
He said it would be up to Wawasan Negara if it wanted to contest under its own logo. At the same time, he said PN’s seat negotiations had not yet decided on that matter, and a committee with two representatives from each party would later determine the seats each party would contest.
