Selangor Infrastructure and Agriculture Exco Datuk Izham Hashim said the closure order was issued because the remaining livestock were not mature enough to be disposed of since February. He also said no new piglets were being brought in, and the remaining pigs would be slaughtered at the Rawang slaughterhouse in stages as the shutdown moved into its final phase.
