Out of approximately 1.6 million foreign workers, only 143,587, or 8.89 per cent, have had their accommodation certified. This indicates that a substantial number of employers and centralized accommodation providers are yet to apply for the certificate from the Department of Manpower Peninsular Malaysia (JTKSM).
