Despite the easing of temperature check protocols, the collection of customer names and contact information for contact tracing purposes is still a firm requirement. This information can be recorded either manually by the establishment or digitally through the MySejahtera application.

The updated SOPs are consistent across both shopping malls and hotels. In hotels, for instance, guests will only need to undergo temperature screening once upon entry. They can then proceed to various premises or restaurants within the hotel without repeated checks.
