Ferry Routes to Indonesian Destinations Remain Unchanged Amidst Relocation

Ferry routes connecting Singapore to various Indonesian destinations will not be affected by the upcoming relocation of the Singapore Cruise Centre. Services to locations such as Batam Centre, Harbour Bay, Sekupang, Tanjung Balai Karimun, Gold Coast, and Nirup Island will continue operating without alteration.
New Terminal Operational from July 15

The Singapore Cruise Centre will officially move to its new premises at 5 HarbourFront Avenue on July 15. This new location is situated approximately 70 metres from its current site within HarbourFront Centre. Batam Fast Ferry is scheduled to be the first operator to commence services from the new terminal on July 7, with other operators and cruise services to follow from July 15.
HarbourFront Centre to Cease Operations

The existing HarbourFront Centre is slated to close its doors permanently on July 27. This closure marks the end of an era for the mall, which first opened in 2003 after being redeveloped from the former World Trade Centre, originally established in 1978.
Redevelopment Plans for HarbourFront Centre Site

Following HarbourFront Centre's closure, the site is designated for redevelopment into a mixed-use complex. Mapletree Investments, the owner, announced in October 2025 that the area will be transformed to include offices, retail spaces, and an elevated park. This extensive project is anticipated to be completed by the first half of 2031, encompassing 123,000 square metres and featuring a 13,000 square metre elevated park, a waterfront promenade, and cycling-friendly infrastructure.
