These operational and safety assessments were overseen by rail enforcement and planning divisions, alongside the Public Land Transport Agency (APAD). The results indicated that critical safety systems, including the Automated Train Control (ATC) system, were stable and functioning without disruption, leading APAD to declare the line safe for full reopening.
Previous Suspension and Ongoing Monitoring

The Kelana Jaya LRT line had experienced a service suspension between Kelana Jaya and Ampang Park, affecting 16 stations, starting November 9. This measure was implemented by Prasarana Malaysia Berhad due to an unstable train signalling system. While the line is now cleared to resume operations, technical experts from Rapid Rail and the original equipment manufacturer, Thales Group, will continue to monitor the system to ensure smooth functioning.
Preparatory Measures and Compensation for Users

As a precautionary measure, Prasarana has been instructed to maintain intermediate bus services at identified 'hot spot' stations. Additionally, affected LRT users will receive ticket compensation equivalent to seven days, despite the operational suspension lasting five days. The Minister also acknowledged and thanked city residents who provided free shuttle services during the disruption, highlighting this as an example of community cooperation.
